Enterprise Risk Manager - Vendor Risk
We are looking for an Enterprise Risk Manager - Vendor Risk who will assist in the set up and implementation of the vendor risk framework for Convera globally, ensuring a strong level of oversight and due diligence is in place across all critical vendor arrangements. The role also supports the business units in their duties with regards to services provided by vendors, procurement and procurement process, as well as Compliance, Legal, Privacy, IT, Cyber Security and Outsourcing.
The function belongs to Convera Global Risk Management, ensuring that group standards and group policies are properly implemented at entity level, and that key risks identified are properly escalated and discussed at group level.
You will be responsible for:
- Maintaining a full suite of documentation, including the maintenance of the outsourcing/vendor register (OneTrust), risk assessments, due diligence questionnaires and scoring models as well as efficient and effective oversight of onboarded vendors, including the regular review of those vendors and outsourced services.
- Maintenance of adequate vendor risk management tools and systems.
- Working closely with business owners, providing technical support on oversight activities, including the completion of risk assessments and due diligence questionnaires.
- Supporting the internal monitoring and oversight process, including collating data, challenging service recipients, identifying improvements, tracking actions to completion.
- Identifying potential operational risks connected to vendor activities, and identifying opportunities for strengthening internal controls in critical vendor relationships.
You should apply if you have:
- Experience in the risk management, internal controls, compliance, outsourcing/vendor oversight or internal audit
- An academic background or relevant professional qualifications or equivalent work experience
- Comprehensive knowledge and experience in the area of payment/banking services and processes
- Good organization skills to foster the collaboration with diverse company departments
- Ability to work in a changing environment with multiple priorities
- Ability to work independently in a structured and analytical way and willing to assume responsibility
- Excellent computing skills with all common office programs
- Fluency in English (oral and in writing)
