Job description
This role will oversee financial planning, forecasting, analysis, and reporting activities, managing a team of analysts. The focus is on delivering accurate financial insights to drive business performance, support decision-making, and ensure service excellence.
- Lead and guide the FP&A analysts, ensuring accurate and timely financial analysis and reporting, monitoring, and reporting on operational performance metrics (KPIs and SLAs).
- Participate in strategic planning and budgeting, and prepare precise reports, forecasts, and budgets in adherence to financial guidelines and standards.
- Conduct comprehensive financial analysis to identify performance drivers, risks, and opportunities.
- Collaborate with business partners for strategic financial insights and recommendations.
- Maintain close relationships with key stakeholders, address internal performance issues, develop professional working relationships across GBS and Business, and support colleagues.
- Participate in cross-functional projects, providing financial expertise for growth and optimization.
- Drive continuous improvement initiatives to enhance financial planning capabilities and foster a focus on service excellence and continuous improvement within the FP&A team.
- Stay updated on emerging tools and technologies for financial planning and analysis; stay informed on industry trends, best practices, and regulatory changes relevant to FP&A.
Requirements
- Higher education in the relevant field.
- Solid experience in corporate finance, preferably within a Shared Service Centre or a Global Business Services environment.
- Solid experience and understanding of the FP&A principles.
- Clear, concise, confident, and thorough understanding of the fundamental principles in accounting, and financial statements.
- Knowledge of SAP systems.
- Excellent verbal and written English skills.
- Self-starter with strong initiative, and a sense of ownership; comfortable in a fast-paced, purpose-driven, collaborative environment
- Innate ability to manage multiple projects on different timelines.
