We are looking for an experienced IT (incidents) manager with advanced English language skills who is able to stay professional and maintain positivity, even in extreme situations.
As a Senior Situation and Crisis Manager, you will play a crucial role in the major incident process and manage the crisis and severe disruptions from the moment a fault has been detected until it has been mitigated or resolved. Moreover, you will be expected to further develop major Incident Management as a function and, through your expertise and inspiration, become a great team member in our day-to-day work.
Our working environment at Major Incident Management is informal and good-humored. You will be based in Vilnius, Lithuania, although the whole team is located in two countries: Lithuania and Denmark.
You will work standard business hours and on-call rotation to cover outside of business hours.
*Depending on your proven experience and knowledge, we may offer you different seniority for the role.
You will:
- Initiate, develop, and support towards recovery, which is most critical in Major Incident Calls: ensuring the agenda is gathered and all actions are delivered on time while staying focused throughout the lead time and providing efficient handover to your team members and management when needed
- Actively participate, coordinate, and organize crisis management and group-wide crisis exercises, and as part of our group disaster Management closely work with the Group Disaster Manager
- Lead task forces and other ad hoc initiatives that are typically executed across the organization at the request of management
- Self – develop several major incident management improvements and projects around our tools, strategy, collaboration with stakeholders, and group wide communication
- Actively develop and own some further development of a business major incident management function, both operationally and strategically
- Identify major incident trends, support report improvements, and convert them into actions
- Support the team to ensure the major incident management function is up to speed with the latest trends and is constantly working to ensure team crisis readiness
- Work closely with stakeholders and consistently aim for better performance
About you:
- Advanced English language skills with a previous experience working in an English-speaking environment
- Open, outgoing, and positive team member with great communication skills
- Advanced technical understanding of IT environment (banking IT knowledge would be ideal!) or high service management skills and ownership experience
- Experienced in conceptualizing challenging agendas (dealing with uncertainty and a great deal of information) and quickly converting them into actions
- Capable of taking a leadership role in meetings under pressure, ensuring everyone is up-to-date with information and roles and responsibilities
- Self-driven, able to handle multiple projects at the same time and maintain a sharp focus while keeping a cool head in high-stress situations
- Analytical and goal- or KPI-driven approach with the ability to take responsibility and negotiate
- Experience or knowledge in ITIL processes and any certification (would be a plus)
We offer
Monthly salary range from 4000 EUR to 6000 EUR gross (based on your competencies relevant for the job).
