Danske Banks Everyday Banking Individuals Tribe is on the lookout for a highly motivated and dynamic Product Owner to lead our Channels Modernisation Squad. As part of a large IT and business development unit, our tribe aims to perfect everyday banking services for personal customers. Our mission is to simplify our customers banking experience, by making it seamless for all their everyday needs.
Located across Denmark, India, and Lithuania, our diverse and co-located teams form an exhilarating work environment. As the lead of the Channels Modernisation Squad within the Payments Cluster, which comprises four dedicated squads, you will enhance customer experiences by providing smooth and efficient services.
You will:
As a Product Owner, you and your squad will play a crucial role in adopting new technologies and modernising everyday banking customer journeys. This includes ensuring a successful migration to a modern, unified channels platform in close collaboration with other squads and Digital Front Door Tribe.
You will co-create the vision for the squad, motivate, direct, and guide squad members to deliver on the backlog. Though you will not have HR responsibilities, you are the functional leader of the team. In summary you will be responsible for the following:
- Define and safeguard the squads mission and vision
- Develop, manage, and prioritize the backlog of business priorities through user stories
- Engage with both internal and external stakeholders to develop and maintain the best possible solutions for our customers
- Be responsible for compliance and risk assessments concerning applications, solutions, processes managed by the squad
- Maintain motivation and engagement within your team, as your success is driven by collaboration and empowerment
About you:
You are an experienced Product Owner with a proven history of delivering robust digital solutions. Excellent at building relationships, you can operate effectively at both strategic and operational levels.
Additionally, you have:
- Strong stakeholder management skills to effectively collaborate and communicate with cross-functional teams
- Great experience in leading agile product development teams, conducting agile ceremonies and processes to deliver business value
- The ability to bridge the gap between technical teams and business stakeholders, ensuring alignment and understanding
- A commercial mindset with the ability to make data-driven decisions and drive revenue growth
- Advanced English language skills
We offer
Monthly salary range from 5200 EUR to 7800 EUR gross (based on your competencies relevant for the job).
