Job description

  • Responsible for month end closing process coordination.
  • Oversee and control balance sheet reconciliations, monthly reporting, analyze variances, and determine reasons for fluctuations.
  • Prepare and ensure accurate & timely reporting to the group including P&L, BS, Functional Costing, Capex, MPH etc.
  • Participate in the processes of monitoring the preparation and execution of the company's short-term and long-term financial plans.
  • Advise the company's employees on issues in the field of finance and accounting.
  • Participation in budget forecasting.
  • Coordinating the process of preparing the annual financial statements.
  • Coordination of the audit process, main point of contact for audit enquiries.
  • Work with continuous improvements in Business controlling area.
  • Provide support in preparing documents required by the internal and external auditors.
  • Ensure quality of financial information for Business decision making.

Requirements

  • At least 5 years of experience in Financial Controller role (or a senior finance specialist with at least the last 2 years in a Financial Controller role).
  • In-depth understanding of accounting principles (GAAP, IFRS).
  • Cognos reporting tool knowledge is considered as an advantage.
  • Strong problem-solving skills & ability to work to tight reporting deadlines.
  • Experience working with international companies.
  • Ability to travel (once a month/once a quarter).
  • Fluent English.
