IN THIS ROLE YOU WILL:

Oversee a team of Embedded Linux developers, offering leadership and mentorship
Foster a collaborative and innovative environment to enhance team performance and satisfaction
Define project scope, goals, and deliverables in collaboration with senior management and other teams.
Stay updated with the latest industry trends and technologies to ensure the teams expertise remains cutting-edge
Work closely with hardware team and other cross-functionals teams to ensure seamless integration of software and hardware components.
Facilitate clear communication between departments to align development efforts with business goals.
Identify potential project risks and implement mitigations strategies to minimize impact
Prepare regular reports for senior management on project progress, team performance and technical issues
Engage with customers to gather requirements, provide technical expertise and ensure customer satisfaction
Lead initiatives to streamline development processes, improve system performance and enhance overall product quality

WE BELIEVE THAT YOU:

Have strong leadership skills, communication skills, ability to inspire, motivate and develop a high-performing team
Familiar with Embedded Systems development
Have knowledge of Linux OS (buildroot/yocto)
Have experience with working on a variety of embedded processors (SOCs/microcontrollers)
Have strong organizational skills and attention to detail
Have the ability to explain complex technical concepts to non-technical people
Have a passion for mentoring and developing team members
Have experience in providing constructive feedback and career development support

IDEALLY, YOULL ALSO HAVE:

Experience working in cross-functional teams and collaborating with various departments
Basic electronics knowledge
Basic UART, SPI, I2C, USB knowledge
Basic WiFi, Bluetooth knowledge
Experience of working with Linux device drivers and boot loader
Experience of working with OpenWRT OS

Salary:

We appreciate everyone's efforts and experiences, so we offer an attractive salary that will match your skillset and expertise in the field. The salary for this position ranges from 25 Eur/h up to 40 Eur/h (~4150 Eur 6640 Eur) pre-tax, depending on your experience and expertise.

*In an employment agreement we specify and define a fixed (tariff) hourly salary rate before taxes.
