Area

Finance Tribe operates within the CFO domain of Danske Bank and consists of 200+ highly engaged employees organised in 23 squads. Our mission is to enable sustainable management of Danske Banks financial position and resources by providing high-quality data via modern technology solutions across all financial domains.

We are 4 squads working closely together to transform our accounting system from a 30-year-old mainframe application to build an in-house modern cloud-based solution to improve efficiency, accuracy, and usability. To help us on this journey, we are looking for a Product Owner to lead our product roadmap, prioritise backlog of business and IT requirements in close collaboration with squad, business users and management.

You will join a self-driven agile squad with analysts, developers and Cloud engineers. The squads focus is to deliver key accounting calculations such as eliminations, netting, and currency revaluation. The squad is looking for a Product Owner with passion for system development and a solid domain understanding from banks and preferably accounting.

You will:

  • Ensure the accuracy and efficiency of the banks data foundation that supports Group Accounts and the banks financial reporting
  • Continuously update product strategy and IT roadmap
  • Be responsible for product vision with a clear link to business objectives and goals
  • Drive and take ownership of the user experience and process automation from idea to implementation
  • Drive and prioritize the backlog with focus on delivering agreed business outcome and value ensuring sustainable financial processes and operational stability
  • Ensure that business and technical requirements are specified, documented, and tested
  • Collaborate closely with end-users and ensure alignment on objective and key outcomes

About you:

  • Previous experience as a product owner, team leader, project manager, business analyst or similar
  • Solid data and system understanding from either finance or accounting
  • Experience with optimizing of processes through simplification and automation
  • A can-do mindset, ability to challenge status quo and motivation to work in an agile environment
  • Open-minded team player that motivates and engages the squad members and stakeholders, facilitates good collaboration and open dialogue
  • Good communication and presentation skills with the ability to set clear direction and manage stakeholders at all levels in the organisation
  • Ability to lead product backlog prioritisation and adjust to new important requirements
  • Innovative and creative problem solver who is not afraid of getting your hands dirty and going into details when it is required to solve issues
  • Upper-Intermediate English language skills

We offer

Monthly salary range from 3920 EUR to 5880 EUR gross (based on your competencies relevant for the job).
