Job description
- Lead and develop software test team including automated and manual test engineers.
- Lead all the QA activities, test results, leaked defects, root cause analysis, and identify areas of improvement.
- Implement steps required to improve the processes.
- Participate in forming Software Testing team.
- Lead Embedded and Application Software Testing team.
- Mentor, motivate and ensure the development of team members.
- Set and constantly improve quality assurance standards, processes, methods and tools.
- Define testing strategies to ensure the product being released is up to industry and company standards.
- Create testing plans, including individual testing phases, and ensure the team meets the deadlines set forth in those plans.
- When problems with processes are identified, Software Testing Team lead communicates their new ideas to the different teams involved in the project, including engineers and developers departments.
Requirements
- Bachelor degree in Computer Science or a closely related discipline from an accredited university.
- QA or engineering/development experience in a regulated industry.
- Experience in applying software development life cycle and quality system principles, including Good Documentation Practices.
- At least 1+ year management experience.
- Excellence project management and coordination skills.
- Working knowledge of regulatory requirements and international standards such as FDA Quality System Regulation, Medical Device Directive, ISO 13485, ISO 14971, IEC 62304, etc.
- Proficiency in written and spoken English and Lithuanian.
- Experience working with multiple remote teams and locations is a plus.
