Digital Core is a Tribe of 200 employees, organized in 16 cross functional squads across Denmark, Poland and India, all committed to delivering effective end2end solutions for both external customers of Danske Bank and internal consumers of our data. Our main mission is to deliver highly available, enterprise services that provide customer and account data and functionality to enable the banks digital customer interactions.

We are on a mission to make a world class core bank that is simple, easy-to-use and configurable for our users.

Digital Core is establishing two new squads in Vilnius, and this is a unique opportunity to come in early in the process and help build and influence both the squad, the technical direction and the culture.

You will:

As a Chapter Lead, you will be responsible for a squad of software developers
As the squad has not been established yet you will be responsible for hiring the members of the squad and grow the squad culture alongside the Product Owner
You will be an individual contributing member of a development squad developing the banks core customer and account data solutions
The role of Chapter Lead is a playing coach, that causes real impact through hands-on developing high-quality code as well as mentoring and inspiring your squad members to grow and improve
This is the chance to have a significant role in designing and building innovative solutions to support our transformation journey
Develop solutions with the following tech stack
- Java
- Spring Boot
- RabbitMQ
- Kafka
- ELK
- AWS
- Docker

About you:

You are driven by tasks that are both highly complex and equally important
You have experience and an enthusiasm for leading and growing software engineering teams
You have a solid understanding of agile methodologies
Well-versed in modern software development practices, engineering methodologies, and design principles across various segments of the technology stack
You have a positive attitude that enables you to work independently while also succeeding in bringing in the right assistance where needed
Solid engineering background through previous individual contributions or experience as an IT leader
You exemplify a culture that has a fundamental respect for each individual colleague and a strong professionalism
Advanced English language skills

We offer

Monthly salary range from 5520 EUR to 8280 EUR gross (based on your competencies relevant for the job).
