Meet the team:
This is a role in EMEA Accounts Receivable team focusing on Cash Collections and based in GBS Vilnius, Lithuania with direct reporting line to AR Supervisor.
The team is a part of EMEA Finance Operations O2C function managing Billing, Cash Collections and Accounts Receivable operations in 3 locations: Edinburgh, UK; GBS Vilnius, Lithuania; and Mainz, Germany.

Dexcom Cash Collections Specialists engage directly with customers to ensure customers pay for Dexcom invoices in due dates. We are seeking an experienced (1+ years) Cash Collections Specialist to manage Spain customer portfolio. This will involve proactive engaging with customers to ensure customers pay for Dexcom invoices in due dates, address payment risks or issues, work with local Sales team to get their support if any old overdue invoices as well as regular reporting on Spain debt position.

You will be a critical member of the EMEA Accounts Receivable team, making a significant impact on the region performance. If you're looking for a challenging and rewarding role that allows you to make a difference, then this is the perfect opportunity for you!

Where you come in:
  • Build and maintain solid relationships with Dexcom Sales team in Spain to address issues and seek support when needed.
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams, such as cash applications and billing, to resolve credit-related issues and optimize cash flow.
  • Monitor Spain customer accounts daily, contact customers on payments and proactively address any potential payment risks or issues (including outbound calls to customers, sending out account statements and reminders, negotiating debt repayment plans etc.).
  • Analyze customer payment patterns and develop strategies to minimize bad debt.
  • Log customer queries after customer contact, and direct them to query resolution teams (Billing, Customer Service, Cash Applications, Tax) to review and resolve.
  • Produce Spain customer ledger report of debt position and share with key stakeholders.
  • Produce weekly aged debt profile of top debtor accounts that require action, and work closely with the Supervisor to deliver the actions.
  • Identify and request refunds and write offs.
  • Communicate effectively with internal colleagues and external customers, by phone and via email, while maintaining a friendly, professional style.

What makes you successful:
  • 1+ years of experience working in Cash Collections role in an international corporation.
  • Self-starter capable to work independently without daily supervision.
  • Strong communication skills.
  • Action and result -oriented approach, capable to work efficiently with performance targets.
  • Proficient verbal/written communication in English & Spanish languages.
  • Self-disciplined, attention to details with experience of maintaining accurate documentation and following procedures.
  • Ability to adapt in a fast-paced environment as company continues to grow.

Experience and Education Requirements:
  • Typically requires a minimum of 2-4 years of related experience and a High School diploma/certificate or equivalent.

Monthly base salary for this position is from €1,728.33 to €2,033.33 gross. Final offer will depend on your qualifications, competencies, and professional experience.
