Role description:
Olvi Group, the parent company of Volfas Engelman, is looking for a Senior IT Support Specialist. The role focuses on ensuring high-quality end-user support, coordinating with the IT Support Lead, and mentoring the 1st level support team. Responsibilities include troubleshooting hardware, software, and local applications (including ERP), assisting colleagues, and stepping in when needed to maintain smooth IT operations.
Responsibilities:
- Provide day to day end-user 1st level support with various IT systems like ERP, EDI, Document management system, POS system, Salesmans PDA solution, Warehouse system, HR system. Coordinate with external support vendors;
- Provide day to day end-user 1st level support with printers, scanners, computers, mobile devices, other peripherals. Mentor local 1st level support specialist assigned tickets, assisting them with categorization and prioritizing IT support tickets;
- Provide IT system related consultation to end-users, analysis of various support requests, administrating user accounts, providing access
- Handle IT service requests for mobile phone services incl. ordering mobile devices and mobile SIM cards. Handle and coordinate all IT related invoices for (IT services, IT purchases, mobile devices purchases, Hardware purchases).
- Analyze and collaborate to resolve end-user issues while documenting and following up on issues. Document IT support knowledge base;
- Monitor end-users tickets and adhere SLA. Identify and escalate issues as needed. Interact and communicate at all levels within the company by providing prompt and accurate feedback to end-users about ticket status;
- Perform training for end-users.
Skills and competence:
- Masters / bachelors degree in Information Technology, Computer Science, or similar;
- Solid information technology experience performing end-user support;
- 3+ years of work experience in technical support, IT support specialist. ERP system knowledge is considered as strong advantage;
- Strong critical thinking and reasoning skills. Solid ability to work on assignments according to set priorities and deadlines;
- ITIL framework and ITSM processes knowledge. Jira knowledge is considered as advantage;
- Strong computer skills needed to research, diagnose, troubleshoot, and identify solutions to customer issues;
- Excellent Communication abilities, customer service skills. Talent to work collaboratively in a team environment;
- Very good Lithuanian and English (both written and spoken).
Deliverables:
End-User support: Provide prompt support to end-users by defined SLA, by ensuring the support service quality, and overall end-user satisfaction.
IT Support service reliability: Identify and report gaps for IT support service improvement by reporting to IT Support Lead in Olvi Group.
