Avion Express is a narrow-body ACMI (Aircraft, Crew, Maintenance, Insurance) and charter operator. Avion Express provides top-level short and long-term aircraft wet-leasing (ACMI) solutions and also offers its clients aircraft on a charter basis. The company operates an Airbus A320 family aircraft fleet.

Avion Express is looking for ambitious professionals to support the company's matters and further development of the company. The position is based in Vilnius, Lithuania.

ARE YOU READY TO?

• Gather and structure data from various sources, including SQL databases and API endpoints;
• Ensure the accuracy and reliability of datasets through rigorous cleaning and validation processes;
• Streamline data workflows by implementing automation to reduce manual intervention and improve efficiency;
• Preprocess both structured and unstructured data to make it ready for analysis and modeling;
• Perform detailed and complex analyses to uncover meaningful insights from the data;
• Present findings through clear visualizations, comprehensive reports, and engaging presentations;
• Create and maintain reports and dashboards for different departments within the company (using Power BI);
• Work closely with teams across functions to address analytical challenges and drive solutions;
• Assist in developing and refining models for predictive and descriptive analytics.

DO YOU HAVE WHAT IT TAKES?

• Fluency in English and Lithuanian languages, both spoken and written;
• Bachelors degree in Data Science, Statistics, Mathematics, Computer Science, or a related field;
• 2+ years of experience as a Data Analyst/Scientist or similar role;
• Proficiency in Python and SQL;
• Foundation in data modeling, statistical analysis, and machine learning algorithms;
• Excellent communication skills and the ability to collaborate effectively with different departments;
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team;
• Proactivity in identifying opportunities for data-driven improvements and taking the initiative to implement solutions;
• Previous experience in a similar industry or domain would be considered as an advantage.
