Job description:

Collaborating with Product Owners and other stakeholders on functional requirements and any considerations (security, scalability, limits).
Develop Apex classes and triggers, to extend Salesforce in order to support business requirements.
Custom User Interface development, including Lightning Web Components.
Integrations: Use Salesforce APIs to integrate with other systems used in the organization.
Best Practices: Adhere to Salesforce best practices, maintain code documentation, and write / maintain test classes for all custom development.
Participate in release cycle to implement and deploy new/updates to existing applications and code.
Integrating and maintaining business applications to Salesforce.
Collaborating with Developers, QA, BA in internal and external teams.
Supporting in the Administration of the Platform.
Integrate AI tools into daily workflows to enhance efficiency and performance.

Requirements:

Salesforce Sales and/or Service Cloud product knowledge and at least 3 years of Salesforce development experience.
Able to collaborate and communicate effectively with stakeholders / other Salesforce team members.
Able to work independently.
Certified Salesforce Platform Developer I.
Proficient with IDE's such as IntelliJ or Visual Studio Code, Salesforce Lightning Design System and the Salesforce development lifecycle.
Experience implementing and developing in Apex and LWC.
A proactive attitude to Salesforce enhancements and bringing existing code into best practices.

Nice to have:

Salesforce certifications e.g. Certified Salesforce Administrator, Certified Salesforce Platform App Builder, Platform Developer II, JavaScript Developer I.
Bachelors/Postgraduate degree, professional qualification, or relevant experience.
Competency in other languages / development (XML, Flex, JavaScript, .NET, SQL, C++, REST based web services).
Demonstrates commitment to continued personal/professional development.
Experience with the Gearset DevOps solution.
