Area
The Core Payments Tribe is responsible for the accurate and timely payments processing, playing a vital role on developing & supporting new payment solutions at Danske Bank. Our tribe is actively developing our payment systems on a public cloud platform and is seeking additional team members for the Payments Platform Squad.
By joining our team, you will have the opportunity to:
Work on Cloud base applications & solutions migration to AWS. Applications & Microdevices development for the Java Public Cloud base solutions.
Engage with a modern tech stack, including tools and technologies such as Microservice architecture, Java 21, Maven, Apache Kafka, Elasticsearch, GitHub Actions, Kubernetes, Grafana, Prometheus, and OpenTelemetry.

You will:
- Analyse and improve platforms performance and reliability
- Design, build and set up tools for deployment, operations and monitoring
- Research, development & deployment of the new platforms & solutions
- Perform access control and data control
- Troubleshoot and resolve platform issues on test and production environments
- Automate processes, operations and remediation actions
About you:
- Experience on developing, deploying and optimising Java base services on AWS Public Cloud infrastructure
- Experience with cloud-based Amazon solutions & services: S3, RDS, VPC, EC2, etc
- Proficiency in infrastructure as code tools (like HashiCorp Terraform)
- Experience with managing Kubernetes, AWS EKS, Kafka and ElasticSearch clusters
- Strong awareness of IT security practices
- Experience in deploying and optimising highly critical systems and infrastructures
- Advanced English language skills
- Self-starter with an excellent sense of ownership
- It is advantageous if you have experience working with gRPC, MS SQL, Jenkins, ArgoCD, GitHub Actions, Grafana, Prometheus or OpenTelemetry
We offer
Monthly salary range from 4560 EUR to 6840 EUR gross (based on your competencies relevant for the job).
