Are you excited for developing people, processes and improve ways of working in a scaled agile set up? Do you enjoy supporting others in their professional development? Then you should join us!
Who are we and what do we do?
In Danske Bank we focus on the values and needs of our customers, shareholders, and the societies we are part of – and our vision is to be recognised as the most trusted financial partner. To realize this vision, we have reorganized our development organisation into 30+ independent and empowered units called tribes.
As a Tribe Coach you will be part of the Tribe Leadership Team in one of our tribes. The size of the tribes varies between 100-200 colleagues spread across the Nordics, Lithuania and India.
As a Tribe coach you will join the leadership team of the tribe together with the Tribe lead and IT lead. We recognize that the ambitious objectives set for our tribes can only be achieved through living up to agile values and principles with a focus on creating value for our customers.
You are expected to bring your extensive knowledge of agile development and organizational change, to help the tribe progress and to ensure the tribe achieves the aspirational vision.
You will report to the Tribe Coach Chapter Lead in the domain Function and be part of the banks Agile Centre of Excellence. You will balance striving for a scaled and unified approach to agile ways of working across the entire bank with the unique needs in your tribe. You must also expect to do hands on work, such as annual and quarterly planning.
Your workplace will be at the banks premises in central Copenhagen or in Vilnius, Lithuania.

You will:
- Ensure the agile journey in the Tribe
- Support tribes leadership with developing their agile leadership skills
- Address challenges in adopting new practices, by making a difference for our leaders to adapt to the agile ways of working
- Orchestrate support from specialized and cross organizational Agile Coaches to increase the agile maturity in the tribe
- Choose the right angle on enabling your tribe to embrace outcome over output, while influencing the rest of the organization to become truly agile
About you:

- You enjoy inspiring and motivating others, so they can excel in their work. You thrive with user and stakeholder collaboration to ensure alignment across the organization, and getting in front of a crowd does not frighten you

Consider us as “the engine of the bank” – while we do not provide banking services to customers in Lithuania, we are the brain and muscle behind many of Danske Bank’s services to our global customers. Our high-quality delivery and can-do approach led us to becoming a strategic site for Danske Bank, an international community of 22,000+ colleagues worldwide.
Danske Bank Lithuania is Danske Bank’s strategic unit, providing finance, IT and global business services to serve our customers worldwide. We are on a journey to push the banking boundaries and make constant improvements in how we operate. We aim to do this by combining the best of two worlds: the strengths of what Danske Bank has built over 150 years and the approach of start-ups to what we are going to create in the future.
We see diversity as our potential, and the cornerstone of our company’s success, that will ensure our continued competitiveness and innovative strength.
We try to create an inclusive workplace where differences are our strengths and where people feel valued and can realise their full capabilities.
Because of that, the critical focus point for us is to be able to recruit, develop and retain employees without attaching any specific labels to them.
