Education:
(i) Preferred to hold a degree in accounting, finance, economics, business administration or related disciplines;
(ii) Preferred to hold internationally recognized professional qualifications such as ACCA, CFA, CPA.
Experience: Required to have a solid financial background, with priority given to those with financial regulatory experience in regulated financial institutions or crypto-asset service providers.
Reputation: Must have a clean regulatory and professional record.
Key Responsibilities:
- Assist the company in internal policies and procedures related to finance during the MiCA license upgrade, and directly communicate with or interview regulators when necessary;
- Coordinate, drive, and complete any finance-related official reports and submissions on schedule.
- Monitor and ensure ongoing compliance with the prudential regulatory requirements set out in the Markets in Crypto-assets Regulation (MiCA), including capital adequacy requirements;
- Oversee the preparation and submission of financial reports, budget planning, and liaise with external auditors and regulatory authorities;
- Support internal financial control structures to ensure accurate financial accounting and reporting practices;
- Conduct capital adequacy reviews to ensure the company's financial position complies with regulatory standards.
