Job description
We are currently looking for an experienced, proactive and detail-oriented engineer to join our team in a new Orion Innovation office in Vilnius, Lithuania as C++ developer. We are looking for a self-motivated contributor with C++ fundamental knowledge and understanding of VoIP systems.
Overall responsibilities:
• Write clean, documented code following best practices
• Work independently and collaboratively with a motivated team
• Provide helpful and clear feedback to peers in code reviews
• Take part in the entire project lifecycle from requirements development to deployment
• Build automation/CI, deployment, and support
• Be a part of SCRUM team
• Prioritize tasks and synchronize with the team, project management, and product owner
Requirements:
• 1+ years’ of experience as C++ engineer
• Experience in developing networking protocols (TCP/IP, TCP/UDP, HTTP)
• Knowledge of network protocol analyzer tools (preferably wireshark)
• Unix advanced usage (console commands)
• SQL skills
• GIT version control system effective usage
• Experience in server software development and understanding of microservice architecture
• Work experience in Agile environment
• Written and Spoken English
Advantage:
• Experience in VoIP area
• Understanding and knowledge of Real Time Protocol (RTP) and Session Initiation Protocol (SIP)
• Containerization/virtualization/orchestration concept understanding (Docker, Kubernetes)
• PBX functionality understanding
• Understanding of network protocols theory: TLS,XSLT, HTTP REST API
