Qualifications

- 1-2 years of relevant work experience is required (can include internship experience)
- Knowledge of Microsoft Office products and particularly Excel
Italian, French, German or Nordic languages are considered as an advantage
Role/Responsibilites
The Financial Data Analysts role provides an opportunity to make a significant contribution towards the success of the ratings teams through support in financial analysis and discrete projects. FDAs primarily support Corporate Finance and Infrastructure Lines of Business:
- The FDA uses accounting and finance knowledge and judgement to perform financial statement analyses, adjust reported data per relevant methodology requirements and analyze ratios
- Work directly with ratings and support analysts to explain data, adjustments and other information needed by the rating team
- Liaise with analysts, knowledge managers and accounting specialists to understand the application of accounting concepts on a particular entity
- Review, adjust and publish data to external market participants
Work on technology projects, accounting changes, documentation updates and implementation of process improvements - FDA position provides an opportunity to foster skills required for any future career in the financial sector.
