Job description
The position is based in Kaunas and will be reporting to Digital Workplace Manager (Support Services Central Europe). You can expect operational processing of IT incidents (on-site/remote) within the scope of IT user support as well as provision of the IT workplace, IT end devices based on Microsoft workplace computers and smartphones (Android/Apple). Also, if required, you are expected to support the IT infrastructure department (e.g. network, server) in the context of IT infrastructure incidents and change requests.
Responsibilities:
- Dispatching, pre-qualification, processing, forwarding, resolving and documenting of IT Incidents and requests.
- Working with applications regarding user, computer, infrastructure and mobile device management, and ITSM system and maintain IT relevant master data;
- You will also be involved in IT projects) and support the coordination of external IT service providers.
- Support in the preparation of reports.
- Support in the creation of general and end user documentation.
- Carrying out end-user training.
- Generally working towards ensuring the availability of all IT services.
- User-interface development for laboratory instruments.
- Offline system software setup and deployments.
Requirements
- IT apprenticeship or university education with relevant work experience.
- 2+ years of experience with IT incident management and IT service request fulfilment within the scope of IT end user support and provision of end user devices.
- Experience with applications such as SCCM, Intune, Azure - as well as working with an ITSM solution (Experience with ServiceDesk Plus is a plus).
- Error analysis skills.
- Basic knowledge of IT support organizations and their processes based on ITIL.
- Basic knowledge of IT infrastructures (network, server, datacenter).
- Fluent verbal and written English skills.
