About the job
We are currently looking for an in-house legal officer to join our Lithuanian team in Vilnius to ensure the company's compliance with the law and perform other day-to-day legal tasks. The successful candidate for this position has experience in an international group organization and environment, particularly experienced in legal work in a financial institution.
Tasks and responsibilities
- Preparation and coordination of contracts and other internal Company documents, ensuring compliance with legislation.
- Draft procedural documents (lawsuits, complaints, reviews etc.) and, if needed, represent the Company in court proceedings.
- Ensure absence of breaches related to legal requirements.
- Administration of collateral measures review, registration, renewal, release.
- Carrying out initial debt management actions.
- Providing legal advice, suggestions, and recommendations to the companys employees and key stakeholders.
- Carrying out other legal tasks as assigned.
About you
- You have a Master's degree in Law.
- Excellent in legal knowledge.
- Able to prioritize tasks in a fast-paced environment.
- Excellent in written and verbal technical and personal communication skills in Lithuanian and English.
- Flexible, able to solve problems, adapt to new situations and make decisions.
- Willing to take the initiative and be proactive.Diplomatic and strong team player, result-oriented and driven by targets reached.
