Daily, you will be responsible for providing AML/CFT and Anti-Fraud Compliance support to WUPSIL Northern Europe region to build and monitor programs that comply with Europe Union local regulations, including WU Global standards. Such responsibilities may include among other activities: the conduction of offsite transaction analysis of authorized delegates of Western Union and its affiliates , , consumer transactional analysis and investigations, and leading different compliance-related projects.

Role Responsibilities

  • Supports agents' efforts to comply with company policies and procedures as they relate to AML/CFT and Anti-Fraud.

  • Conduction of Offsite transaction analysis and review of WU agents to ensure alignment with local requirements and WUs Global Standards.

  • Responsible for conducting and coordinating risk based quarterly selection of agents for Compliance Program Reviews

  • You will assist in developing programs, training material, policies & procedures for agents to meet regulatory obligations.

  • Responsible for receiving, communicating, and processing Western Unions and Agents unusual activity as part of Agent Oversight activities required by Local Regulation (including AML/CFT and Fraud risks).

  • Monitoring and analyzing Consumer activity to High-Risk Jurisdictions based on historical transactions.

  • To provide support to senior management on diverse AML/CFT and Anti-Fraud-related projects.

  • Maintain Agent Oversight tools and KPI/KRI dashboards.

Role Requirements

  • Relevant experience in AML/CFT compliance, auditing & risk management on financial services.

  • Knowledge of AML/CFT Laws and Regulations applicable to Financial Entities.

  • Analyze, utilize industry standards, and employ sound judgment to draw conclusions regarding the status of an agent's compliance program.

  • Fluency in English verbally and in writing.

  • Compliance Officer Certification by CNBV or any Other International Certification is a plus.

  • Multi-tasking, result-oriented, critical thinking, time management skills as well as strong attention to detail, and initiative.

  • Demonstrated analytical, interpersonal and customer service skills.

  • Advanced level of MS Excel (Power Query, validation etc.).

  • Proven history of being a self-starter while maintaining positive relationships with teammates and other company personnel.

  • Ability to work in hybrid way.

Salary

The monthly gross base salary range is 1891 - 2858 EUR. This range represents the anticipated low and high end of the salary for this position. This role is also eligible to receive an annual bonus that align with individual
and company performance. Actual salaries will vary and are based on factors such as a candidates qualifications, skills, and competencies.
