Accountant in Accounts Reconciliation

I am Laura Širvinskaitė, leading Asset Accounting and GL Reconciliations Team at Telia Finance Shared Services in Telia Global Services Lithuania - a competency hub working with cutting-edge technology to ensure group digitalization agenda across Nordics and Baltics. I am looking for an Accountant in Accounts Reconciliation to join a highly professional team.

You are expected to support and guide our stakeholders and colleagues within Financial Shared Services with your expertise to ensure accurate balance sheet accounts reconciliation. To succeed in the role, among other qualifications, you should have a good understanding of the general accounting and BS reconciliations process.

 Your responsibilities include but are not limited to: 

• Balance sheet accounts reconciliation preparation for period-end closures
• Assistance in Blackline tool administration and maintenance of the reconciliations process
• Investigation of old postings, unclear accounts movements and implementation of corrections
• Answering reconciliation-related queries and providing required information for Blackline users upon request
• Collaboration and support to stakeholders and other engaged third parties such as auditors in respect of accounts reconciliations
• Collaboration with third parties to implement solutions to the complex operational issues
• Raising and implementing improvements aiming to eliminate waste, secure accounting quality, harmonize and automate processes to reach efficiency and quality goals

Your experience and skills: 

• >1 years of experience in Accounting
• Fluent in written and spoken English 
• Advanced Excel skills (e.g., VLOOKUP, pivots, etc.) 
• Strong communication skills 
• Good analytical and problem-solving skills
• Experience in SAP (advantage)
• Experience in the Blackline tool (advantage)

Working in this position you will receive a base salary of 1900 - 2350Eur (gross) depending on your experience, plus annual bonuses depending on your individual achievements and Telia results. Besides for each employee Telia has an additional employee benefits package which includes:
