Accounts Receivable Accountant

I am Gabija Paukštytė, leading Volume Accounts Receivable Team within Accounting Operations and Support in Telia Global Services Lithuania. I am looking for Accounts Receivable Accountant to join our team of professionals in Vilnius!

Your next challenge?

The team you will be part of is responsible for accounts receivable daily and month end tasks: handling B2C and B2B customer incoming payments, maintaining AR Ledgers, customer queries and bank accounts reconciliations.

To excel in this team, you need to be a flexible person who embraces change, have attention to details and have inspiration to actively engage in driving and supporting improvements. You are also expected to support our stakeholders, the business, with expertise to ensure correct accounting. Some month end closing activities are also part of the roles responsibilities.

Your responsibilities will include but are not limited to:

• Perform accounts receivable tasks (incoming payments, reconciliations, ledger maintenance, investigations, support according to SLA)
• Perform PEC (period end close) activities
• Prepare material required for auditors and year end closing
• Maintain cooperative and professional relationship with stakeholders and manage stakeholder needs and expectations
• Engage in change and continuous improvements within accounts receivable process
• Follow given KPIs and SLAs, ensure daily transactions timely booking in the correct period
• Train and coach more junior team members
• Implement other tasks given by a direct manager

Your experience and skills:

• > 1 year of solid, hands-on experience in Accounting, preferably in the area of Accounts Receivable
• At least basic knowledge of general accounting and good understanding of the overall financial processes
• Strong communication & collaboration skills
• Fluency in English language (both: written and spoken)
• Analytical, structured, and proactive doer who is attentive to details
• Good excel skills (VLOOKUP, Pivot table)
• Experience with SAP ERP (advantage)
