CONTROL ROOM TEAM LEADER (F/M/D) I IGNITIS RENEWABLES

We are looking for a colleague, who would join our team and help us take care of the remote control and will monitor of all our power generation assets across the operating fleet. Your key areas of responsibilities will be:

• Provide direction and supervision to the on-shift Operations team in day-to-day job activities and responsibilities
• Oversee and drive continuous improvement in an effort and desire to reduce and eliminate operational issues
• Assist in proactively monitoring real-time activity, performance, and operational status of all wind and solar assets to include dispatching of generation, complying with transmission directives and outage coordination/management
• Assist the operators in understanding and identification of abnormal operations or alarm conditions that arise during shift and appropriately troubleshoot in a timely fashion
• Perform acceptance testing on tools and applications and periodic operator log reviews for accuracy and compliance
• Support commissioning activities and integration of new projects
• Develop, lead, and support the onboarding process and training requirements of operations personnel, including professional development and regulatory obligations
• Implement and develop processes and procedures to ensure compliance with internal controls, various ISO, TSO and other grid regulatory entities
• Assist and facilitate the fleet performance reporting.

• Have a Bachelor's degree in engineering or related discipline
• Have experience in Control Centre/Dispatch within offshore environment, electrical & power generation, renewable energy
• Are proficient user of Microsoft Office products including Excel, PowerPoint and Word
• Have very good English language skills (both verbal & written) 
• Have strong technical knowledge of plant and system processes and experience in operating electrical or SCADA systems
• Are willing to be available for 24-hour on-call duty to meet obligations to the Operations Team as issues arise
• Are familiar with functional system interactions and able to pay attention to critical elements in a complex and regulated environment
• Are a self-starter with a positive "can do" attitude, able to coordinate multiple activities, to take direction, identify problems, develop solutions, conduct analysis independently and in collaboration with others
• Have strong interpersonal, analytical, problem-solving and team management skills.
