We are growing and looking for a RAN Optimization Engineer to RAN Automation & Tools team. I am Mindaugas Navecka and I am leading RAN Automation & Tools within our Radio Access Network department in Network Systems & Delivery, Common Products and Services, Telia Company. You have a broad expertise, will and ambition to improve our radio access network performance. You will be a key contributor behind Performance Management (PM) transformation journey, as we are onboarding new PM solution bringing unique capabilities, and you will strive to harmonize and improve performance visibility of Telia Company radio access networks across whole footprint in Nordics and Baltics. You will also be a part of our automation ambition to simplify the radio network optimization activities according to the Self-Organizing Networks (SON) paradigm, deploying and improving C-SON algorithms. It is a job that calls for someone who has a broad knowledge – understands deeply the radio interface, performance metrics, radio features and functionality, and has previous experience with SON, network engineering, optimization and/or troubleshooting.

In your role, you will own performance guidelines, KPI definitions, reports, and dashboards. You will act as a servant expert towards country organization and develop new PM reports and views according to their needs. You are willing to be proficient in data analysis to meticulously investigate and interpret performance metrics, employing analytical methodologies to extract meaningful insights. You will also be coaching and act as an internal radio optimization expert for colleagues within other parts of our organization.

Your experience:

• Minimum 5 years of Radio Network Optimization experience

• Track record of achievements in improving network quality and performance

• Skilled in facilitating presentations aimed at both technical and non-technical audience

• Preferably have experience in network protocol analysis and/or troubleshooting

• Fluent in English (spoken and written)

Working in this position you will receive a base salary from 3800 - 5700 Eur/month (gross). Plus, annual bonuses which vary, depending on your competencies and your and Telia results.
