 Financial Risk unit within Risk Lithuania division quantifies, analyses and communicates Swedbank financial risk profile to protect the bank against unexpected losses.

 

In Swedbank Financial Risk you will:

• Analyse banks financial risk profile and communicate it to various stakeholders – top management, business units (Markets/Treasury), audit, regulators etc.;
• Be involved in the risk steering, for example regular reviews of limits, policies and instructions;
• Lead quarterly Market Risk stress-test coordination, analysis and presentation;
• Contribute to the analysis of Capital Risks, including the Pillar 3;
• Develop risk framework documentation (policies, instructions, process descriptions, etc.);
• Challenge the business on financial risk topics;
• Improve the risk culture by communicating and educating on financial risks;
• Have close cooperation with Risk Lithuania, Group Risk, business areas and local management;
• Work with our cross-border team in Baltics and in the Group.

What is needed in this role:

• An academic degree within finance, mathematics, engineering and/or similar fields;
• Experience from working in the financial industry;
• Very good knowledge of financial markets products & relevant regulations (CRR, EBA Guidelines etc);
• Knowing what impact EV and NII sensitivity has to a bank balance sheet;
• Getting excited about IRRBB and deposit modelling;
• Understanding how to manage & steer bank financial risk profile;
• Very good interpersonal and communication skills;
• Very good knowledge in written and spoken English;
• Very good knowledge in written and spoken Lithuanian;
• Advanced skills in MS Office software;
• Experience from VBA or SQL is meriting.
