Requirements for candidates

Personal qualities:

3+ years experience with leading high performing teams
Very good collaboration and communication skills
Methodological, logical, and flexible approach, to have gained significant experience as a technical lead
Ability to explain complex technical information in business terms
Experience of Agile practices and ways of working
Flexible and adaptable to changing needs
Continuously improving yourself
Experience in recruiting Data Engineers and Data Analysts
Fluent in English, both written and spoken
Experience in the financial industry (lending, banking) is a plus.

Technical knowledge & skills & experience:

Strong fundamentals in Data Engineering
Up to date knowledge of business intelligence domain
Good understanding of software development best practices, including design principles & patterns, security, and performance
Extensive Data modelling experience
Experience in working with a combination of cloud based big data technologies (e.g., Spark, Python, Kafka...) and Data warehousing within MS SQL
An understanding of how Data Warehouse and Data Lakes are designed, developed, and deployed.
Familiar with data engineering languages (e.g. TSQL, PL/SQL, Python...)
Experience with CICD and data pipelines

Main Responsibilities

People:

Increasing Talent Density of Data Engineering Chapter in Multitude.
Driving the engineering productivity and assessing performance.
Personal development and performance evaluation of chapter members.
Growing trustful relationships and initiate frequent connection with chapter members.
Collaborate with other Chapter Leads and the Technical Product Leads to ensure the alignment.
Onboarding of new employees.

Technical:

Define standards and industry-accepted best practices.
Evangelize modern data engineering practices.
Ensure that latest industry standards are met.

Papildoma informacija: The salary range is 4500 - 5500 EUR gross monthly, but will be higher if you are a senior candidate. Our final offer to you will be set up fairly, considering your skills and experience.
