Key responsibilities:
- Conduct rigorous feasibility studies and project analyses.
- Develop comprehensive project plans, schedules, and budgets; create detailed blueprints for project execution and financial management.
- Assemble and lead a team of expert consultants.
- Monitor the projection phase, ensuring compliance with local codes, regulations, norms, and brand standards
- Secure necessary approvals and obtain all required permissions from regulatory bodies.
- Select qualified subcontractors, negotiate contracts, and supervise their work.
- Coordinate construction activities for seamless execution, including direct on-site activities and ensuring efficient collaboration among contractors.
- Control project costs and timelines, track spending, manage the schedule, and implement corrective actions.
- Identify and mitigate potential risks to minimize project disruptions.
- Maintain clear communication with stakeholders, provide regular updates and foster strong relationships with all involved parties.
Requirements:
- A minimum of 5+ years of hands-on project management experience within the construction in hospitality industry.
- Successful track record of delivering complex projects on time and within budget.
- Strong understanding of building codes, regulations, and permitting processes.
- Ability to lead cross-functional teams and delegate effectively.
- Good negotiation skills and vendor/subcontractor management experience.
- Proactive problem-solver with strong analytical and critical thinking abilities.
- A university degree in construction management, engineering, architecture, or a related field.
- PMP or similar certifications are advantageous.
- Fluency in English is required.
- Ability to travel up to 50% of working time, including site visits and overseeing projects in various countries.
