Responsibilities:

Oversee the entire accounting process, ensuring accuracy and compliance with accounting standards;
Supervising external accounting team by coordinating, organizing, reviewing, and controlling all accounting matters;
Manage month-end and year-end close processes, reconciliations, and financial audits;
Collaborate with cross-functional teams to streamline financial processes and enhance efficiency;
Liaising with (tax) advisors, lawyers, auditors and other professionals;
Stay abreast of industry regulations and accounting principles, implementing best practices;
Improving pro-actively accounting, reconciliation and operation process with a direction towards automation;
Assist in projects where accounting expertise is needed.

Qualifications:

Bachelors degree in accounting, Finance, or a related field; CPA designation is highly preferred;
Proven experience (3+ years) in a senior accountant role, with a track record of success in financial management. Preferably having international, Big4 or shared service centre experience;
Strong understanding of accounting principles, financial regulations, and reporting standards;
Analytical and problem-solving skills;
Team leadership skills;
Good time management and planning skills;
Ability to work independently, be proactive, take ownership and responsibility;
Good MS office skills different ERP systems experience would be an advantage;
Exceptional communication skills, both written and verbal.

You will be responsible for high-quality financial services delivery. The ideal candidate must have a strong background in accounting, excellent English skills. It is an exciting role with great responsibility. The position also involves supervision of the external accounting team, liaison with the local auditors, operational teams and finance controllers. In addition, the project is on the path of continuous improvement, so we also expect the candidate to integrate continuous improvement in a daily job. The candidate would also have the opportunity to become the Chief Accountant in due time.
