Purpose of the job:
Designs, leads, coordinates the high performing field force team to achieve sales objectives in Lithuania.
Effectively manages, coaches, and motivates the field force team directly in accordance with the business strategy and compliance rules.
Responsible for long-term field force strategy and focus. Sets and distributes the sales objectives.
Generates and monitors execution and effectiveness of various actions plans.
Develops effective and enduring professional business relationships with key customers and stakeholder that support delivery of business results across a range of therapeutic areas.

Area of responsibility:

  • Designs the field force structure in line with business potential and customer segmentation.
  • Establish an atmosphere inspiring creativity and risk taking, by leading, coaching and development of the team.
  • Formulates business plans in volumes, sales budgets per brand for the defined territories.
  • Monitor the execution of the Sales Action Plans and performance per territory.
  • Plans on a regular basis: annual, cyclic, weekly the field visit, in full compliance with the work time distribution received at the beginning of each promotion and the individual needs of direct subordinates, with the support of Coaching for Excellence.
  • Reviews the performance, including the administrative tasks (reporting, record keeping) of direct reporting employees through Coaching for Excellence and stimulates their individual development and motivation.
  • Analyses sales, in the assigned region and gives feedback to marketing and medical teams regarding planning of activities.
  • Keeps the direct reports properly informed, trained and updated regarding all relevant matters for performing their activities.
  • Builds external relations and communications with Key External Stake Holders, including Hospitals, wholesalers, tender management.
  • Follows the companys rules and guidance concerning all product promotion and keeping strictly the ethical code.


  • University degree preferably in Life Sciences, Medicine, or Business / Economics
  • Previous experience of 1 - 3 years as Sales/District/Area Manager within pharmaceutical industry
  • Team management / People management experience and skills
  • Strategic and winning mind-set with a hands-on attitude with ability to prioritize and focus
  • Excellent communication skills
  • Excellent planning and project management skills
  • Proactive and professional customer service attitude
  • High ethical standards and strict compliance to internal and external regulations is essential
  • Driving experience and driving license
