You will join our global specialized team implementing the banks Third-Party Risk Management Programme enabling the organisation to identify, assess, mitigate, and manage the risks associated with suppliers, outsourcers, and partners.

As a Chief Specialist in Third Party Risk Management (TPRM), your act as an expert on risk associated with third party arrangements including third party risk, operational risk, and supply chain risk in all phases of the TPRM lifecycle from due diligence and onboarding to lifecycle management and termination.

You will be the TPRM process gatekeeper and ensure that third party arrangements are handled and assessed in line with the internal requirements and processes. This includes offering expert advice to line managers, contract owners, and subject-matter specialists balancing business needs against costs, requirements, and risks.

The role is thus vital in implementing and maintaining Danske Banks TPRM Programme in alignment with regulatory expectations and internal policies.

You will:

  • Craft and revise policies, procedures, tools, and templates to meet the required standards
  • Drive innovation in the TPRM framework, processes, systems, and tools to improve our way of working and manage third-party risks effectively
  • Lead and drive the due diligence and risk assessments processes in all phases of the TPRM lifecycle
  • Lead and drive collaboration with cross-functional subject matter experts to inform risks assessments
  • Effectively analyse complex risk scenarios, devise pragmatic solutions, and communicate results in an easily comprehensible manner
  • Develop strong relationships with business and management teams, providing best in class advice advice on third-party risk management issues
  • Championing TPRM best practices to enhance risk awareness to colleagues and stakeholders
  • Act as mentor for colleagues and sharing knowledge

About you:

  • Have a bachelors degree in business, risk management, information technology or related field. Masters degree or relevant certifications is beneficial
  • Demonstrate solid expertise and experience in third party risk management, vendor management and operational risk management within the financial industry
  • Full understanding and experience in working with core regulatory requirements such as GDPR, DORA, relevant compliance standards and industry best practices
  • Comprehensive understanding of cybersecurity, data privacy and information security concepts
  • Analytical and problem-solving skills with the ability to identify and assess risks
  • Advanced in English (spoken and written). Knowledge of Nordic languages is advantageous
  • Effective communication skills and sophisticated stakeholder engagement toolkit

We offer

Monthly salary range from 4000 EUR to 6000 EUR gross (based on your competencies relevant for the job).
