Position: Senior Accountant

Location: Vilnius, Lithuania

Delfin Group LT, UAB a dynamic FinTech in Vilnius, is looking for an experienced and proactive professional to join us as Senior Accountant. You will be responsible for high-quality financial services delivery, supervision of an external accounting team, liaison with the local auditors, operational teams and finance controllers. In addition, the project is on the path of continuous development, so You will have the opportunity to integrate continuous improvement in a daily job. The candidate would also have the opportunity to become the Chief Accountant in due time.

Responsibilities:

Manage and oversee daily accounting operations;
Prepare financial statements and reports;
Ensure compliance with financial regulations;
Conduct month-end and year-end close processes;
Analyse financial discrepancies and recommend effective solutions;
Supervise external accounting team by coordinating, organizing, reviewing and controlling all accounting matters;
Establish and enforce proper accounting methods, policies, and principles;
Collaborate with cross-functional teams to support overall company goals and objectives;
Assist in the development and implementation of new procedures and features to enhance the workflow of the department.

Qualifications:

Bachelors degree in accounting, Finance, or a related field; CPA designation is highly preferred;
Proven experience (2+ years) in a Senior Accountant role;
Strong understanding of accounting principles, financial regulations, and reporting standards;
Proficiency in accounting software and Microsoft Office Suite;
Spoken English knowledge;
Analytical and problem-solving skills;
Good time management skills;
Ability to work independently, be proactive, take ownership and responsibility;

Good to have:

Experience in retail accounting and work with cash register;
International, Big4 or shared service centre experience;
Experience with ERP systems.
