Do you want to support build Danske Banks credit platform that drive credit decisions in Danske Bank? We now offer an opportunity to be part of the Credit Journey Tribe within Danske Bank, where our mission is to enable customers to realise their dreams and ambitions with trusted and frictionless credit decisions in any channel and journey.

You will become part of our Tribe, where your role will be to define Danske Banks target architecture for the credit model area. You will work together with multiple cross-functional squads and be part of our chapter of 10 skilled Software Architects, defining practices and reference architecture across all our 25 squads in our tribe.

We are on a journey to create a unified, plug-and-play credit process that can hook into all our channels. We have a data-driven approach for creating near-instant, automated credit decisions, that work seamlessly with our advisory solutions. We provide and develop capabilities that Danske Bank use for assessing all loan applications, whether it be simple personal customers applying for a Mastercard to cross-country, big enterprises applying for complex loans and credit facilities. We need you to assist on this journey!

You will:

You will be responsible for setting the architectural direction of one of the Nordics largest banks and one of Denmarks biggest IT companies, where you will head the solution architectures direction for one of the core areas of banking. Your responsibilities include (but are not limited to):

  • Design solutions to meet short- and long-term business needs and requirements, aligned with strategic architecture direction and roadmaps
  • Act as architecture lead in development of initiatives to improve solution design and provide solution guidance to team members
  • Architectural design and tool selection for our Model Development Platform, covering:
    • Analytical setup for out Credit Modellers to tap into
    • Running an effective and responsive model execution platform for our entire decision flow portfolio
    • Build streamlined pipelines to enable decision flow teams to be fully control of staging of model
  • Ensure platform adheres to Model Governance setup – including regulatory as well as internal compliance
  • Help to continuously adapt and improve the way we work across squads and tribes

About you:

As a Senior Software Architect, you will help to discern the needs of our customers, development teams, and our business. Clear and convincing communication skills, and the ability to facilitate and inspire engagement among your colleagues, are vital for this process. We are looking for proven architectural knowledge, where you have experience driving key technology and business change. We are looking for someone with:

  • Experience in designing and transforming complex enterprise systems across multiple teams
  • Experience in API-based integration using REST APIs and event-driven architecture
  • Experience in Microservices architecture and containerised development and deployment
  • Proficiency in domain modelling and Domain Driven Design (DDD)
  • Experience working with Data Architecture and collaboration with Data Engineers and Data Scientist
  • Experienced in back-end Java & Python development
  • Ability to communicate architecture on all levels and to all stakeholders
  • Advanced English language skills

We offer

Monthly salary range from 5440 EUR to 8160 EUR gross (based on your competencies relevant for the job).
