I am Jurgita Dubovaitė-Sidorovė, and I am leading the Reporting and Tax Team at Telia Lietuva. We are a diverse team of experts, responsible for delivering financial reports to the shareholders and maintaining accurate and efficient tax structure. Today we are looking for a Senior Tax Accountant to join our team in Vilnius!

As a Senior Tax Accountant, you will be responsible for tax reporting. It is the position for those who have general interest in tax accounting, have solid knowledge of taxation landscape in the market and want to take ownership in handling all tax-related questions from communication with external tax auditors and internal Tax team to being the driver of continuous improvements in our processes.

Your responsibilities include but are not limited to:

• Perform accounting for corporate income, land, real estate taxes
• Prepare tax declarations and submit them to tax administrator
• Calculate monthly tax accruals and reconcile tax balances
• Ensure compliance with tax obligations specified in the Lithuanian Tax Administration Law, including providing information to the State Tax Inspectorate (VMI) through various channels (such as SAF-T and i-SAF)
• Participate in internal company projects, assess potential tax risks, and implement risk mitigation measures
• Coordinate transfer pricing documentation
• Assist other employees with tax-related queries related to investment projects and other tax matters.

Your experience and skills:

• Proven experience in tax accounting
• Bachelor or equivalent degree in Finance/Accounting, or related field
• Fluency in Lithuanian language
• Good English language skills (B1 and above).
