Rimi Baltic Finance Value Stream is looking for a proactive individual to manage and supervise the accounting department and its processes. This role ensures timely and accurate reporting. The Chief Accountant will report to the Accounting and Reporting Director.

If You have:

• University degree in Accounting, Finance or a related field; professional accounting certification (e.g., ACCA, CPA) is highly appreciated;
• Minimum of 5 years of experience in accounting, with at least 2 years in a Chief accountant position.
• In-depth knowledge of Lithuanian accounting standards and tax regulations;
• Strong computer skills and a solid understanding of accounting systems (knowledge of SAP and OneStream is beneficial);
• Strong process analytical skills and process improvement capabilities;
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills, with fluency in English.

We will entrust You:

• Oversee and manage the accounting function, ensuring accurate and timely financial reporting;
• Prepare financial statements in compliance with local and international accounting standards;
• Manage the month-end and year-end close processes;
• Coordinate and lead the audit process, collaborating with external auditors;
• Ensure compliance with tax regulations;
• Lead and develop the accounting team;
• Collaborate with other departments to support overall business objectives.
