Job description
As a Senior Data Engineer, the newly joining Senior Database Engineer will be part of a forward-thinking team tasked with migrating the Daily Profit & Loss application from an internal infrastructure to AWS:
- Collaborate with the team to define the target architecture for the final AWS solution.
- Implement incremental data loads from the PnL engine to the daily dealer solution.
- Migrate daily dealer P/L databases from Markets IT SQL hotel to Finance Tribe Infrastructure on the public cloud.
- Ensure code deployment via pipelines and maintain application code in version control.
Requirements
- Solid understanding of ETL/ELT workflows.
- Hands-on experience with MS SQL Server and its tools.
- Hands-on experience with AWS, or similar cloud-based resources.
- Full professional proficiency in English.
- Experience in programming in Python would be a plus.
- Experience in infrastructure-level migration would be considered an advantage.
