We are looking for Leader of leaders in Sanctions Screening Continuous Development Unit in Sanctions and PEP screening Department to join our leadership team supporting the developing AML and Sanctions environment, securing the vision and strategy of our organization with the focus on skilled leadership and people development.
You will be leading operational support unit and owning Data Management & Report activities, Process management and project coordination team, Quality control activities and Training management field (4 teams with approx. 30 employees). Moreover, you will also be part of the great management team, which will enable you to grow and develop both personally and professionally.

You will:
- Build on leadership capabilities within your team and together with your peers, ensuring a clear focus on delivery, quality, people agenda, and strategy implementation
- Understand end-to-end (E2E) processes, navigate the complexity of regulations, and embrace and implement new work practices. Identify current and future development needs and provide insights to management
- Drive optimizations, changes, and projects; re-engineer existing processes to achieve process standardization and improvements in controls
- Recognize and act on your responsibility and accountability for the success, motivation, and development of your team members and the overall organization
- Communicate clearly and effectively with the team and multiple internal/external stakeholders at all seniority levels within the bank, ensuring compliance according to the Groups business procedures
- Ensure and drive the continuous improvement agenda, new ways of working practices, and effectively lead the team through continuous changes
- Build and maintain effective working relationships with stakeholders; ensure smooth collaboration across teams and the ecosystem, providing effective support for the organization to ensure the implementation of strategy
- Support the Head of the area in quality, process governance, competence development, technology, data management matters, and new ways of working to enhance the departments engagement and overall organizational agility in the rapidly evolving AML and Sanctions landscape
About you:
- Adaptive Leadership: 3+ years of leadership, operational, or supporting function management experience. Proven ability to lead effectively in environments of constant change, with skills in developing a culture of continuous improvement and innovation. Capacity to balance short-term operational needs with a long-term strategic vision
- Key Stakeholder Management: Ability to build and maintain collaborative relationships across various levels of the organization, experience in aligning multiple stakeholders towards common goals in complex regulatory environments
- Cross-functional Expertise: Comprehensive understanding of AML and Sanctions regulations, coupled with the ability to translate this knowledge into practical improvements. Proficiency in integrating data management, process optimizations, quality controls, operational activities, and training initiatives into cohesive strategies
- System Thinking and Change Facilitation: Demonstrated ability to apply system thinking to complex organizational issues, new ways of working, capability to work in a changeable environment, deal with a certain level of unknown, and previous experience with implementing holistic solutions that address root causes rather than symptoms
- Strategic Vision and Execution: Proven experience in translating strategic objectives into actionable plans across multiple teams
- Analytical, Problem Solving and Change Management Skills: Experience in applying data-driven insights for decision-making. Demonstrated success in leading change initiatives and problem-solving skills
- New Ways of Working: Proven experience in implementing work practices that enhance productivity, collaboration, and employee satisfaction
- Continuous Learning Orientation: Ability to foster a learning organization that continuously adapts to evolving regulatory landscapes. Commitment to ongoing personal and professional development in areas of department development, new ways of working, and emerging AML/sanctions trends
- Advanced English language skills
We offer
Monthly salary range from 5200 EUR to 7800 EUR gross (based on your competencies relevant for the job).
