Asset Finance is responsible for systems regarding Leasing & Hire Purchase products. That covers both sales system for branches, finance centres, self-service solutions as well as sales via vendors. The administrative and finance processes are supported by systems within this area.
Our tech stack includes WEB applications (JSP/Java/WebSphere), IBM CICS/COBOL, RedHat Linux, and IBM DB2.
Currently, we are looking for a Chief Mainframe Developer who has the passion on technology with strong focus on quality and efficiency to work on operational Maintenance and Support.
*Depending on your experience and knowledge, we may offer you different seniority in the role.

You will:
- Maintain and improve existing applications in the set of different environments – WEB application (JSP/Java)/IBM CICS/RedHat Linux/IBM DB2 ensuring their efficiency, reliability, and adherence to Regulatory Compliance
- Troubleshoot and resolve issues by yourself and together with other teams that may arise ensuring minimal disruption to operations
- Conduct code reviews and provide feedback and guidance to improve team coding practices, while also creating and maintaining technical
- Work closely with a cross-functional team of engineers, business analysts, and other stakeholders to understand requirements and deliver solutions
About you:
- 6+ years of experience working with COBOL-DB2 as well as having good understanding of JCL
- Hands-on experience with Core JAVA and APIs
- Solid knowledge on LINUX/UNIX command
- Ability to work independently, willingness to take responsibilities and ownership of the assigned tasks
- Solid focus on Quality and Efficiency
- Good communication and collaboration skills
- Banking/ finance knowledge would be considered as a bonus
- Hands-on experience with JIRA, Confluence, and Service now would be advantageous
- Upper-Intermediate English language skills
We offer
Monthly salary range from 5240 EUR to 7860 EUR gross (based on your competencies relevant for the job).
