Your responsibilities:
As the Pricing Analyst you will support the Pricing transformation of Clean Air to deliver its lasting partner strategy whilst optimising the bottom line.
• Support the Pricing Strategy and Analytics Manger in the price positioning of each product in accordance with the product strategy, covering price list attributes and customer archetyping.
• Participate and support Product Line Management (PLM), Sales, Marketing and Technology teams in building the various pricing models (discount logic, bundling, service catalogue).
• Analyse and report competitors behaviour, pricing & positioning strategy.
• Analyse and report Customer Satisfaction Survey to understand and reflect the willingness to pay in the price positioning.
• Support the PLM teams to define price levels (target price, Willingness-to-pay, Cost+) required to retain current incumbencies and/or win non-incumbencies.
• Analyse JM price differentiation per customer segment and region and build recommendation to maximise profit.
• Maintain tracking mechanisms for key performance metrics resulting from price positioning exercise and the new pricing models.
• Assist the Commercial Excellence Manager providing clear pricing communication to be shared with Sales and the wider organisation on the price positioning, the new pricing models and the processes to be followed.
• Support the Pricing Strategy and Analytics Manager in the Pricing budget/Forecast/Sales plan process.
• Manage various complex business and statistical analyses to support effective top-management decision-making regarding pricing related issues.
Requirements for the role:
· Post-graduate qualification (ideally Master Degree educated), preferably quantitative-focused, e.g. Economics/Business/Finance/Statistics.
· Proven 2-5 years experience, ideally with an analytical background.
· Extensive experience working with Excel, MS Office.
· Experience with SQL, Python.
· Resourceful, self/result-driven, agile, integrity, positive attitude.
· Strong quantitative and analytical skills.
· Conceptual and strategic mindset.
· Data-driven and independent thinker.
· Advanced problem-solving ability.
· Strong collaboration skills and ability to implement/drive change.
