All development-related work regarding investments in Danske Bank is owned in the Retail Investment Tribe with around 180 members. All work in the Tribe is organized into squads – cross-functional teams of about ten people from business and IT working on a specific mission.
We are delighted to present an opportunity within our Holistic Wealth Plan squad, a vibrant, agile international team of IT professionals. Currently we are on the lookout for a talented engineer who embodies the rare blend of expert developer and insightful mentor for our junior team members.
Our efforts are concentrated in two key areas:
- Creating an economic model able to perform lifetime cash-flow-based holistic projections of private clients. The model is also an economic model that generates a set of potential future return and interest rate scenarios. It includes equities, interest rates, different bond types (e.g. mortgage bonds, IG, HY), real estate, loss of income due to unemployment or disability.
- Forecast on investments used to measure the risk on a portfolio of financial assets or the risk model to be used in an investment forecast calculation.
At our squad, developers are encouraged to broaden their skills and lead various initiatives, ensuring continuous professional growth and innovation. Join us in shaping the future of digital investment advice, where your expertise will directly contribute to advancing our technology and empowering our clients.
You will be working closely with experienced Developers, Product Owner, BA specialists, DevOps and Test Automation specialist to build and maintain solid future-proof Investment solutions in Retail Investment Tribe.
Depending on your skills, knowledge, and experience, you may be offered different seniority in the role.
You will:
- Work within your enthusiastic squad day-to-day, developing new investment services and features
- Be expected to actively participate in your .NET Chapter (a technical guild of sorts), to keep up to date with the latest tooling, frameworks, and methodologies within the .NET landscape
- Participate in all phases of application development – from designing & building to deploying, running, and maintaining
- Act with system ownership in mind and take responsibility for ensuring high quality in all solutions – both directly through your work and indirectly through guiding your team members
- Challenge the way we do things
About you:
- 2+ years of experience in developing applications using .NET
- Experience with MS SQL or similar relational database
- Experience writing clean and testable code
- Knowledge about software design patterns
- Experience with both consuming and designing RESTful APIs
- Knowledge of Docker, RabbitMQ, CI/CD, AWS, OpenShift would be a beneficial asset
- Experience working agile in close collaboration with business and designers
- Upper-Intermediate English skills, both written and spoken

Monthly salary range from 3480 EUR to 5220 EUR gross (based on your competencies relevant for the job).
