The Data Platform Tribe within Technology Services / Data & Functions at Danske Bank provides centralized Data Warehouse, enterprise reporting, and analytics services across multiple banking domains. The Legacy Data and Quality squad is responsible for:
- Driving the end-to-end decommission process of legacy data platforms owned by the Data Platform Tribe.
- Maintaining ongoing dialogue with all business units to ensure alignment and collaboration.
- Developing a Data Quality Framework that outlines processes for managing data quality throughout the organisation.
- Implementing Data Quality tools that support data quality monitoring, profiling, and cleansing.
- Establishing a process for identifying, escalating, and resolving data quality issues as they arise.
As a Chapter Lead, you will partner closely with the Product Owner in a 2 in a box model, ensuring the squad operates efficiently using agile methodologies. You will be responsible for guiding the implementation strategiesthe how of task execution. Your role will focus on developing and implementing data quality standards, processes, and tools to ensure the integrity, accuracy, and reliability of our data across the organization, as well as optimizing the existing IT landscape by reducing the number of legacy data systems as part of our F28 Strategy.
As a Chapter Lead, you are an innovative and experienced leader, blending deep domain expertise with a skill for coaching and developing others. You serve as a player & coach, spending approximately 50% of your time managing your Chapter, and the remaining 50% as a doer in a Squad delivering value by completing work.
You will:
- Lead the development and implementation of Data Quality standards and measurements in the organization
- Support the squad in Legacy data platforms decommissioning project by participating in decommission strategy development, risk management, data migration, and archiving plan development
- Serve as the HR manager for a team of skilled software engineers, overseeing their professional growth and personal development through performance evaluations, training programs, and recruitment initiatives
- Guarantee that all implementations adhere to our architectural guidelines and maintain the highest standards of the banks best practices
About you:
- Minimum of 4 years of experience in data quality management
- Experience with data warehouse solutions
- Experience in testing integrations and data flows (ETL, Kafka) contexts
- Proven experience in handling financial data
- Familiarity with streaming and architecture best practices
- Demonstrated leadership skills with a proven track record of successfully guiding and developing teams in a dynamic environment
- Advanced English language skills
We offer
Monthly salary range from 5200 EUR to 7800 EUR gross (based on your competencies relevant for the job).
