Job describtion:

Implement the MICA regulation by developing and overseeing the compliance policy in accordance with MICA, ensuring that all processes are documented and meet requirements;
Investigate potential compliance violations and prepare reports for the Board of management;
Communicate with the Bank of Lithuania and other regulatory authorities, providing reports and responding to their inquiries, related to compliance issues;
Stay informed about the latest regulatory changes and industry best practices;
Ensure that a company adheres to applicable laws, regulations, industry standards and internal policies. Responsibility for developing, overseeing, and managing compliance programs, auditing company procedures, and ensuring that all operational activities are compliant with laws and regulations;
Identify and manage regulatory risk. Identify compliance issues that require follow-up or investigation;
Help that company maintain policies and procedures to remain within an industry's regulatory framework. Design and update internal policies to mitigate the risk of the company breaking laws and regulations;
Work with business units and management to ensure appropriate contingency plans are in place that set guidelines on how to respond to a possible compliance breach;
Conduct periodic internal reviews or audits to ensure that compliance procedures and ethical standards are followed;
Organize and provide regular training sessions for employees to communicate key regulatory changes and update and ensure employees are aware of company policies and procedures.

Requirements:

A minimum of 2-3 years of experience in fintech or crypto services company, preferably in compliance officer role;
Understanding of crypto professional or personal experience is an advantage;
Higher education (bachelor's or master's degree in Law an advantage);
Strong knowledge of AML/KYC regulations and financial crime trends;
Excellent communication, interpersonal, and leadership skills;
Fluent in Lithuanian and English (both verbal and written);
Impeccable reputation, clean criminal record.
