As a Product Owner, you will play a pivotal role in modernizing our core banking systems. You will be at the forefront of our digital transformation efforts, directly enhancing customer and colleague experiences. Digital Core is a Tribe of almost 200 colleagues, organized in 20 cross-functional teams across Denmark and India, all committed to becoming a trusted data partner, delivering a foundational banking platform for our group. We do this by delivering modern and scalable APIs for both external customers of Danske Bank and internal consumers of our core domains: Customers and Accounts.We are a distributed agile team of business and IT professionals working closely together in an informal atmosphere valuing a flat hierarchy and productive, open discussions.
That is why, we are so thrilled to grow our Digital Core family in Lithuania as well.
You will:
- Together with IT Chapter lead, build and lead an entirely new squad. You can influence which product area will be under your responsibility with your peer POs
- Be responsible for formulating a product vision for your scope, and with the input from your team, develop, operationalise and manage your product strategy and roadmap. Applying agile practices, you will plan development, manage squad members priorities and balance workloads
- Together with the team, develop modern APIs and other critical components, reducing legacy by introducing modern technologies, but also running and maintaining current legacy applications. The value you, as a Product Owner, bring to these outputs, is to formulate and communicate a clear commercial and customer value in everything your team does
- You bring curiosity, empathy, and teamwork at the forefront of your leadership style. You are a coach/mentor, leading by example, as well as supporting and inspiring your squad and tribe members to grow and improve
- Design and build innovative solutions to support our transformation journey
About you:
- Previous experience working as a product owner or project manager
- Experience from building your own team
- A Can Do attitude and a drive to get things done
- Technical understanding is preferrable but not necessary Your willingness to learn and your passionate curiosity will quickly get you up to speed
- A sincere interest in people, and a passion for sharing, effective communications skills that inspire and motivate team members and peers across your area
- A drive to learn and understand, as well as confidence to develop and nurture a wide network of stakeholders
- Commercial and customer focus – why is one of your favourite words
- Upper-Intermediate English skills
We offer
Monthly salary range from 3920 EUR to 5880 EUR gross (based on your competencies relevant for the job).
