Would you like to take part in detecting market abuse? Join the E-Communication Surveillance Team, which is expanding and looking for a Danish-speaking colleague to cover the Nordic countries.
As an Officer in E-Communication Surveillance, you will analyze the electronic communications of the banks staff to detect instances of potential market abuse and support the bank in maintaining control in the financial markets. You will review both written and spoken communications in Danish and English, work closely with colleagues locally and across the Nordics to share intelligence, and improve research methods and surveillance processes.
*We also offer an additional monthly bonus based on your proficiency level in the Danish language.
*Depending on your experience and knowledge, we may offer you a different seniority for the role.
You will:
- Review E-Communication Surveillance alerts to detect incidents of potentially abusive trading activity or misconduct in accordance with Standard Operating Procedures
- Identify, investigate, and escalate any irregularities or discrepancies in the alerted communications
- Keep up with regulatory changes and policies related to Market Abuse prevention to develop expert knowledge in regulatory and compliance fields
- Identify areas for process improvement, support, and contribute to initiatives
About you:
- Danish language is required (at least B2 level, for which you will receive a monthly language allowance)
- Previous experience in a back-office position would be a benefit
- Higher education in Economics, Finance, or a similar field would be a beneficial asset
- Knowledge of market products and an interest in securities trading would be a benefit
- Accuracy and attention to detail, coupled with efficient follow-up skills
- Great organizational skills with the ability to prioritize effectively and work in a time-sensitive setting without compromising quality
- Willingness to work in a multicultural and international environment
- Upper-Intermediate English skills
We offer
Monthly salary range from 1400 EUR to 2100 EUR gross (based on your competencies relevant for the job).
