Job description:

Ensure timely accounting and month closing process
Oversee the preparation of accurate and timely financial statements, including income statements, balance sheets, cash flow statements, and variance analysis
Prepare monthly, quarterly, and annual reports in compliance with company policies and regulatory standards
Ensure the day-to-day management of accounting functions, including accounts payable/receivable, payroll, bank reconciliations, and general ledger maintenance
Monitor and improve accounting processes to enhance accuracy, efficiency, and internal controls
Ensure compliance with local, state, and federal regulations, including GAAP, IFRS, and tax laws
Coordinate with external auditors for regular financial audits and ensure timely completion and accuracy
Supervise, mentor, and train the accounting team, ensuring professional development and a productive work environment

What you will need:

Solid experience in accounting and/or auditing
Bachelor's or similar level degree in Finance and/or Accounting
Proficiency using Excel (VLOOKUP, PIVOT, SUMIFS, etc.)
Strong understanding of GAAP, IFRS, and tax regulations; proficiency in accounting software (SAP would be considered as an advantage)
Advanced analytical skills with a proven track record in financial reporting
Good written and verbal English communication skills
Well organized, attention to detail, deadline-oriented, teamwork skills and willing to improve daily processes
Can-do attitude with hands-on approach
Experience in Banking Industry (would be considered as an advantage)
