Job description
You would be a part of the team, working on a software solution that controls all aspects of aerial data collection and pilot navigation. This includes:
- Interfacing with hardware devices (e.g., cameras, lasers, gimbals, power controllers).
- Web-based front-end UIs for system operators and aircraft pilots.
- Back-end services for running navigation routines, real-time data assessment and storage, mission status tracking, flight optimization, hardware control, etc.
- Main software application package to integrate and orchestrate the above.
Requirements
- 3+ years commercial experience with Python and C++.
- 5+ years of hands-on software engineering experience.
- Multi-threaded applications.
- Comfortable with git, GitHub or other source code repository service.
- Capable with Linux and bash.
- Working with databases (SQL and NoSQL).
- Software testing.
