Role Overview: We are seeking a skilled Platform Engineer to join our team in Danica IT. This role will be responsible for the system engineering and maintenance of the SAS Viya system, guaranteeing its consistent operation and reliability. The ideal candidate will have both experience as DevOps and being technical responsible for specific application system. Role will be part of central DevOps team but with main assignment to SAS Viya and work very close to development teams.
You will:
- Provide support and maintenance for the SAS Viya system, ensuring its availability and performance
- Troubleshoot and resolve issues related to the SAS Viya platform, working closely with other IT teams and stakeholders
- Monitor system performance and implement improvements to enhance efficiency and reliability
- Be responsible for infrastructure decisions and provide input to systemwide IT Architecture
- Work very close to development teams
- Collaborate with the IT Architecture team to ensure alignment with overall IT strategy and goals
- Maintain documentation of processes, configurations, and procedures related to the SAS Viya system
- Participate in incident and problem management, IT change, and release management activities
About you:
- 3+ years of experience as Platform engineer, System administration or DevOps
- Experience in Kubernetes, CI/CD is benefit
- Degree in computer science, information technology, engineering, or a related field
- Strong problem-solving skills and the ability to manage complex technical issues
- Strong collaborative skills in team-oriented environments
- Familiarity with cloud technologies and platforms is beneficial
- Strong communication skills, both written and verbal
- Upper-Intermediate English language skills
We offer
Monthly salary range from 4640 EUR to 6960 EUR gross (based on your competencies relevant for the job).
