As part of this dynamic team, you will contribute to the development and maintenance of core software solutions that power a range of life-saving medical products including lung ventilators, anesthesia systems, and neonatal incubators.
To uphold the highest standards of stability and quality, our Test Automation Engineers play a key role in building and advancing automated testing frameworks that ensure these critical systems perform reliably in real-world clinical environments.
Work
Key areas of responsibility for this position include:
- Develop and maintain a robust testing framework for a complex medical devices system.
- Design comprehensive testing strategies, including architectural enhancements to support scalable and efficient test execution.
- Focus on system-level testing, interacting with the devices through its user interface, sensor simulation tools, and other technical interfaces.
- Analyze and integrate different layers of software testing to create holistic test concepts that validate the complete functionality of core components for medical devices.
We are looking for a person with the following qualifications and experience:
- 2-3 years of hands-on experience of software development in Python.
- Good understanding of object-oriented programming principles and the ability to apply OOP best practices.
- Experience working within a structured software development process driven by formal requirements.
- Experience in developing software for embedded or real-time systems is a strong plus.
- Familiarity with end-to-end testing frameworks such as Selenium, Appium, or similar is considered as advantage.
- ISTQB certification is a plus.
- Willingness to learn C++ programing language gradually with the support in the team.
- Proficiency in English, both written and spoken.
- A collaborative team player with an open and communicative nature, who can work independently and with attention to details.
