Join our Platform Unit in the Medical Division, where innovation meets impact.

As part of this dynamic team, you will contribute to the development and maintenance of core software solutions that power a range of life-saving medical products including lung ventilators, anesthesia systems, and neonatal incubators.

To uphold the highest standards of stability and quality, our Test Automation Engineers play a key role in building and advancing automated testing frameworks that ensure these critical systems perform reliably in real-world clinical environments.

Work

Key areas of responsibility for this position include:

Develop and maintain a robust testing framework for a complex medical devices system.
Design comprehensive testing strategies, including architectural enhancements to support scalable and efficient test execution.
Focus on system-level testing, interacting with the devices through its user interface, sensor simulation tools, and other technical interfaces.
Analyze and integrate different layers of software testing to create holistic test concepts that validate the complete functionality of core components for medical devices.

We are looking for a person with the following qualifications and experience:

2-3 years of hands-on experience of software development in Python.
Good understanding of object-oriented programming principles and the ability to apply OOP best practices.
Experience working within a structured software development process driven by formal requirements.
Experience in developing software for embedded or real-time systems is a strong plus.
Familiarity with end-to-end testing frameworks such as Selenium, Appium, or similar is considered as advantage.
ISTQB certification is a plus.
Willingness to learn C++ programing language gradually with the support in the team.
Proficiency in English, both written and spoken.
A collaborative team player with an open and communicative nature, who can work independently and with attention to details.
