Were kicking off a new chapter in our quality assurance journey and are looking for a Leading QA Engineer to take ownership of the technical direction of our QA practice. This is a strategic and hands-on role where you'll shape and elevate the QA discipline across the company, without necessarily being a traditional team lead. You will work closely with our existing QA professionals, who are part of different client teams, and support their technical growth, alignment, and collaboration.

You'll be the spark that starts that movement combining vision, hands-on technical expertise, and the ability to bring people together.

What You Will Do

Define and drive the technical vision for QA across Present Connection.
Act as a go-to expert and mentor for QA engineers working in separate client teams.
Establish and promote QA best practices, tools, and processes that can be shared across projects.
Evaluate and introduce new technologies and testing strategies to improve our quality standards.
Collaborate with other tech leads, developers, and management to ensure quality is built-in, not just tested later.
Actively contribute as a QA Engineer by participating in hands-on testing, helping define test strategies, and setting the example for quality in practice.
Support hiring, onboarding, and development of new QA team members as we continue to grow.
Be responsible for the selection process for QA internships.
Mentor and support interns during their internship period.
Take part in new client onboarding from the QA perspective define initial quality assurance needs, ensure testing scope is clear, advise on test environments and tooling, and align expectations for QA involvement from the beginning of the project.
Kick off company-wide QA initiatives (e.g., internal knowledge sharing, testing frameworks, automation strategies).

What We Expect

At least 3 years of experience in QA, with a strong technical background and a track record of driving quality initiatives.
Experience with process improvements.
Experience with Git, CI/CD and test management tools.
Strong knowledge of QA methodologies and SDLC/STLC.
Fundamental knowledge of JavaScript core.
Teamwork orientation, proactiveness and focus on quality.
Excellent communication skills.
Great English language skills (written and verbal).
Able to implement test automation framework, including behavior-driven.

Its a plus if you:

Have experience with Typescript
Have participated in pre-sale activities
