We are excited to announce the new position of Chief DevOps Engineer for newly established SDLC and Standards squad within the Developer Experience Tribe. As Chief Engineer, you will be responsible for Software Development Life Cycle (SDLC) and related instruction, process framework & training course, DevOps best practices & capabilities, alignment to industry standards, controls, developer journeys and standardised development workflows.

You will:
- Author Software Development Life Cycle (SDLC) instruction and outline requirements according to DFSA regulations and laws
- Adhere to industry standards for SDLC, develop SDLC guidelines (process framework) and DevOps best practices to enhance/mature DevOps capabilities in the bank
- Contribute to the SDLC training course by providing concepts and materials
- Engage with developer community and map Developer Journeys, pinpoint pain points, and identify automation steps
- Enhance engineering performance monitoring by standardising development processes
- Evaluate SDLC risks and develop controls to mitigate them. Assist with Automated Governance
- Collaborate closely with the DevOps Engagements squads, providing guidance and exchanging ideas
- Assist other squads in the tribe in developing efficient, high-quality solutions
- Assess viability and develop SDLC AI Assistant using DanskeGTP API
About you:
- Bachelors degree in business, Computer Science, Engineering, or a related field. MBA or relevant certifications are a plus
- At least 7 years of professional experience as a DevOps/Platform/Full-stack Engineer, or similar role in a technical environment
- Extensive DevOps expertise with both broad and detailed understanding
- Experience with CI/CD Pipelines (GitHub Actions, Azure DevOps, Drone.io)
- Experience with containers platforms (Docker or OpenShift) and orchestration (Swarm or Kubernetes)
- Experience with Windows, Linux, Infrastructure Provisioning & Orchestration (Terraform or Ansible) and Cloud Services (AWS, Azure or GCP)
- Experience in application observability (Grafana, Prometheus, AppDynamics), log aggregation (Splunk, ELK) and related best practices
- Focus on automation, Quality Assurance, security and compliance
- Experience with creating high quality documentation and inspirational presentations

- Structured, quality conscious and problem solver
- Excellent communication and stakeholder management skills
- Financial services knowledge is a plus
- Advanced English skills
We offer
Monthly salary range from 5600 EUR to 8399 EUR gross (based on your competencies relevant for the job).
